Aftermath of Viper Attack[]

Elodie notes that the castle is quieter without her cousins, aunt and uncle.

If Charlotte was bitten during Week 3, the princess mentions she was worried about her cousin.
Test: Poison ≥ 40

  • Success
Elodie will remark that milk viper bites are often fatal, as they have no known cure.
It may be useful to remember this later.
  • Failure
    No effect.

Noting that Lucille said Charlotte had recovered, Elodie thinks her cousin might have a guardian angel.

Special Weekend Activities[]

For all weekend activities, see Weekend Activities.

Talk to Father[]

First visit[]

Elodie asks Joslyn what really happened to her mother. He explains that magic isn't safe and Fidelia eventually died after it drained her strength.

Second visit, before talking to Julianna[]

Elodie has a touching moment with her father. +1 Cheerful, +1 Yielding

After talking to Julianna[]

Joslyn refuses to tell Elodie where the royal crystal is, stating he doesn't want her to end up like her mother. He notes that he won't be able to stop Elodie from doing as she pleases after her coronation. +1 Wilfull

Talk to Julianna[]

If Julianna was allowed to stay

First visit[]

Julianna asks Elodie about the whereabouts of Fidelia's Lumen crystal. Test: Lore ≥ 10 for Elodie to know what a lumen crystal is. The duchess then explains that once a Lumen bonds with their crystal, it becomes a part of them until they die. She adds that the royal crystal Fidelia once used belongs to Elodie, as it has been passed down in the royal family for generations, and instructs the princess to find it.

Second visit[]

Julianna suspects Joslyn of having Elodie's crystal in his possession, and assures the princess that he wouldn't have thrown it away, as someone else would've found it. Elodie learns that Lumen crystals are indestructible and that anyone can bond with a crystal, as long as it hasn't been bonded with, and the new host is similar to the person attuned to the crystal.

After asking Joslyn about the Royal crystal[]

Elodie informs Julianna of Joslyn's decision to keep the royal crystal hidden until her coronation. Julianna argues that Elodie will need to become a Lumen as soon as possible to protect herself and Nova against threats. The duchess instructs Elodie to find a way to enter the treasury, where the crystal is likely being kept. She adds that she might have to take drastic action if that fails.

  • I'll wait until I'm older
Elodie decides to trust her father's judgement. +1 Yielding
Elodie can still visit the Treasury and activate her Lumen crystal after this choice.
  • I'll try to find a way
Elodie agrees to find a way to get into the treasury. +1 Willful
  • What drastic action?
Julianna says she hopes it doesn't come to that and asks Elodie to talk to her if she fails to get the crystal.

Visit Dungeons[]

If Julianna was imprisoned

Elodie visits the Duchess' cell while exploring the dungeons. Julianna warns the princess against hasty judgements.

  • Hear her out
Julianna explains that Joslyn only accused her of Fidelia's death because the late queen died by magic. She claims that Nova is at risk without a Lumen queen. Test: Lore ≥ 20 for Elodie to know a detail about Nova's rulers. All the rulers of Nova have been Lumens for centuries.
The duchess asks to be released in order to tutor Elodie.
    • Free her: Elodie now has a magic tutor. +1 Pressured
    • Refuse: Julianna remains a prisoner. +1 Angry, +1 Willful
  • Taunt her
Elodie attemps to taunt Julianna but the ground starts trembling under her feet. The princess runs away wondering if there was an earthquake. This was most likely caused by the Duchess, as her magic affinity appears to be Earth. +1 Afraid
