Lucille's Revenge[]

If you choose to sacrifice Charlotte last week, and Lucille isn't dead and you didn't order her assassination, she ambushes you while unprotected. You are drained of life and die ("Drained" death). There are no saving checks to prevents this.

People's Discontent[]

If Commoner Approval is under 5, you worry about your choices. +1 Pressured, -15 Commoner Approval.

If you directed your agents towards "Commoner uprisings" during Week 18, you will receive a report, flavor text depending on whether Joslyn is dead and/or if you took action against the Merva family. If Commoner Approval is too low, the report will urge you to take action immediately. If you hired Sabine as a Court Musician, unlock option "Stage a concert". Test: Herbs ≥10 to unlock option "Heal the sick". Now choose:

  • Stage a free concert: +15 Commoner Approval
  • Heal the sick: Test: Herbs ≥80:
    • Success: +15 Commoner Approval. Test: Divination ≥30 for additional flavor text and the Blessed by the favor of cats? achievement.
    • Failure: Test Herbs + Battlefield Medicine ≥60:
      • Success: +10 Commoner Approval
      • Failure: Test Decoration ≥50 -or- Elegance ≥50.
        • Success: +10 Commoner Approval.
        • Failure: No Approval increase.
  • Make a public appearance: Test: Presence + Public Speaking ≥110 -or- Presence + Elegance ≥110, -or- Presence + Decoration ≥110.
    • Success: +10 Commoner Approval.
    • Failure: No Approval increase.

Coronation Feast[]

You can choose to hold a feast, and how expensive should it be. If the crown is bankrupt this choice will be skipped, with the same outcome as the "No feast" option below. The choices:

  • Extravagant feast: +25 Commoner Approval.
    • Note that if Joslyn is dead, this choice only raises +10(20?) Approval instead.
  • Respectable feast: +20 Commoner Approval.
  • Small feast: +20 Commoner Approval. A tragedy will happen in the epilogue.
  • No feast: -10 Commoner Approval.

Family's Visit[]

If you named Lucille your Lumen Minister, the Merva family will move into the palace.

If Joslyn is dead and you didn't take action against the Merva family or killed Lucille, they will arrive at the palace to comfort you. +1 Yielding. If you're not engaged, Lucille will dissuade you from marrying yet, citing the example of Cayleigh; you won't be able to choose a suitor next week.

Visit Charlotte[]

If you made Lucille your Lumen Minister, you comfort Charlotte on her worries over losing her loved ones for a magic crystal. +1 Cheerful

If Joslyn is dead and the Merva family moved in, Charlotte comforts you. -1 Depressed
